Minister for Education launches new guide for post-primary schools 'Being LGBT in School'

Minister for Education Jan O'Sullivan TD launches a new GLEN/Department of Education and Skills resource for post-primary schools to prevent homophobic and transphobic bullying and support LGBT students.

Minister for Education and Skills, Jan O'Sullivan TD, today (28th January) launches the new GLEN/Dept of Education and Skills resource for post-primary schools on providing safe, supportive and affirmative environments for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) young people in schools.

The Resource includes the first ever guidance for post-primary schools on supporting students who are transgender
